How can you check if this will be a problem on your FN Tac. I plan on buying this host soon and already have a .578x28 piston for my Osprey. Should I just trade it out now?

Thanks for another great video Kenny!

yamatitan-per the video I would recommend calling Mike and having him send you the new piston. I appears as though the shoulders of the barrels are not all perfectly squared. They now make newer pistons that shoulder on the nose of the threads. Im doing the same on a fnp tac and am happy they took care of the issue. Great job to the guys at Silencerco.

I just recently got my 45 osprey back from you guys after an issue shooting it in my 45 tac, with the new/modified piston. The piston rotates just a hair in either direction when installed in the osprey. It appears there is just a slight mount of play where the three lugs on the suppressor interface with the three slots on the piston body. Is this OK? Because of it, when the suppressor is screwed into the barrel, it allows the suppressor to be rotated in either direction just a hair. I know I've asked about this before but I just want to double check and get an official response. Thanks!

Yes I would trade it in. If you have any questions or concerns about it this give Mike Pappas a call. (801) 417-5384 ask for Mike :)
