Is there a pre-buy available on this? If so and I buy one this week, hue many hundreds of people would be ahead of me? Any idea on production/delivery time for late comers like me? Starting from the time they start actually shipping, of course...

Dealers are taking pre orders and wholesalers have already started pre selling. I am optimistic about some units leaving here within the next 30 days

I expect to have some by 2012.
My wish is coming true! I should have some in in a few weeks.

Um, if they are finally releasing in 30 days, how about some specs, pics, etc? We haven't even seen this thing since SHOT/January

All in the works. Features set and basic appearence have not changed. It did get slightly shorter (5.6" without any mount) and slightly lighter. Slight mod to Hoplon baffle.
Right now I am happy some forms are finally going.
The beauty of the Saker is all the different combos that will affect weight , length and even performance.

Changed from what? I guess my search skills are weaker than I thought, because I can't find weight/dimensions/ratings anywhere...

Still buying one, but it would be nice to know how much it weighs both in its most basic configuration and with the dangly bits...

The first pre production unit forms to transfer to dealers have been approved. Production continues on tubes and forms are being done
Completed pre production units should be shipping out soon. units available for actual purchase should be shipping not too long after, all avail information I get from production points to end of month (Nov), If you add what is know affectionately as the "Gary Factor" in , the first commercially available units should ship in mid Dec.

Photos and completed specs are in the works....
Videos are slated for production, but those guys are pretty hammered right now doing artsy s--t.
All things point to SHOT for any major production video.

Hard to say, initial glance doesnt seem to have a lot of room for us to engineer a solution around

I'm glad it looks like the 5.56 Saker will be making it to market soon.

Is there any way you guys at Silencerco can hint on whether a 7.62 version will be mentioned at this coming Shot Show? I'm pretty much done with my 300BLK bulid, and curious to know what the options will be for suppressors. I would like to submit a Form 4 by sometime next year. I'm willing to hold out for Silencerco, as long as something 'concrete' is presented in Shot Show 2013....like Silencerco did with the Saker in Shot Show 2012.

I love my 22Sparrow and like the innovation of Silencero, but owning a 300BLK without a can is torture.

I just bought a saker from a dealer in Texas. He said it came with "one mount" and asked me what I wanted. I thought they all automatically came with the trifecta mount?

Anyway, I said I wanted a trifecta mount because I like the "no ping" concept, but if they didn't have any I'd take a 51 tooth. I'm just curious whether or not the sakers normally come with a trifecta mount or if that's something the dealer/distributor can specify when they order.

Thanks,

LSW

Hey Gary, I've got a configuration question and a weight question for you:

Will the Saker be available in a 1/2 x 58 thread mount? Could this be torqued onto a semi-auto with some Rocksett applied and work okay?

What would the total weight with just a 1/2 x 28 thread mount setup be?

You guys keep up the great work!

The direct thread 1/2x28 will be fine on a semi auto. The can just needs to be hand tightened and we do not recommend using any kind of thread lock. As for weight I am unsure and will try to get back to you but I would expect it to shave a bit of weight off as well as make the overall length shorter.

The Saker body and mounts are sold separately to the dealers to insure someone does not end up with a mount they don't need. The dealer should be able to get you set up with the specific mount you want.
