Plans for Saker to Surefire-Socom mount?

Just out of curiosity, if silencerco plans to support AAC 51T, and YHM mounts... What are the chances the saker might be able to mount to the new surefire socom mounts with an adapter?

If possible, is it likely? If likely, within a year of saker release?

Any new info on a Surefire mount for the Saker? I want to get one of the SF Mini cans and it would seal the deal on the SF Mini if I can use the Saker on the SF mounts....otherwise I might have to go the AAC Mini-4 route.

DANGIT...was on the verge of getting a SF Mini Monster. A Saker-SF mount would have really tipped the scale in SF's favor...DANGIT.

We do not intend to make a mount for Surefire muzzle devices because there are too many types of too variant designs for us to cover all the mounts.

Does it have to be an all or none proposition? I would think focusing on just the most common SOCOM mounts would open up the saker to a pretty good audience. Afterall if a Socom 7.62 is compatiable with both the Socom 5.56 FH/MB mounts and socom 7.62 FH/MB mounts, then one design should allow for the 7.62 Saker to be used on all four muzzle devices.

That's a bummer. I was planning on picking up a Saker 762 to compliment my 762-rc and 556-rc.

I guess I'll just be buying another Surefire to go with all the SOCOM mounts I already have.

I agree w/ Niceguy, I think an adapter for the SF762 mount would open up your market greatly. There are lots of people with surefire mounts that would probably jump at a 762 saker, me included.

My plan was to pick up a Saker 762 for range day blasting/heavy training classes and when I need a quieter suppressor then my 762-rc and 556-rc.

Since all my guns already have Surefire Socom muzzle brake mounts I have no interest to buy into another system.

I've got a surefire socom 762rc and 556rc currently so all my guns wear Surefire mounts. I have a 762 saker on the way that I plan on using for a dedicated 300 blk out build. Aside from AAC, surefire probably dominates a large portion of the suppressor mount marketplace. From a business standpoint it's a whole market that can be tapped into.

Lets make some noise people.

A lot of Leos/Gov. and military use Surefire cans due to the MIL/LEO discount, their performance, and track record in that arena. That's a LOT of guns running around with SF brakes and flash hiders.

I use SF SOCOM flash hiders and would definitely be interested in buying into the Saker platform if it were cross-compatible.

I bought one of the very first askers with the assumption that there would be a socom mount. Needless to say I'm a bit disappointed they are not planning on it.

So yes, if they make the mount, I would definitely buy at least two and maybe even another saker...

Just bought a 762-rc for my 2x 556 and 1x 762 surefire mounts. I'd definitely be interested in a Saker if it fit on either the 556 or 762 mounts (if it fits both, shut up and take my money)

I own Surefire SOCOM mounts/cans but would love to buy a Saker. Buying new mounts for some of them and not being able to swap cans at will is kind of a deal breaker. Keeping my fingers crossed Silencerco will announce a Surefire SOCOM adapter for the Saker in the next 60 days- otherwise the next one will be a Surefire again.

My 762 saker just got approved for use on a 300 blk out. It would be awesome to be able to use it on my other guns which all have surefire mount. Yes I got a socom 556rc and 762rc first, and yes I got the saker hoping there would be a surefire mount in the future.
