m203 ammo

Post by poizzin »

Ok I think that I need to have one(m203). Clyde armory can get them. but Now for the ammo-

I know you can get flares easy enough, but if that is it then I will stay 37mm

What is the "fun factor ammo" available for this? and is some other form needed (once you have an m203) to aquire such ammo. such as explosive permit or dd ammo? I do not know so I am inquiring to those that do. thanks a million

Check here http://www.autoweapons.com:80/products/ ... vices.html

Clyde Armory alos sells the practice rounds. The explosive rounds have a $200 tax stamp EACH, plus storage requirements IAW BATFE like a bunker 500 ft away from any occupied dwelling.

40mm practice ammo at $4 to $5 a round is still OK.
You only need four or five rounds at the range anyway.
So what's $20, I spend twice that each time with 5.56 in the M4's
and I'm sure you guys do too.
No body complains about that....do they?
It's just when one of your friends wants to fire about 10 rds of 40mm
that we start butt cheeking our wallets.
SO....everybody buy thier own M203's.
Problem Solved!!!!!

I'm looking to score some good 40mm pratice rounds. If you can fnd them for $4 or $5 a pop, let me know because I want some (~100 rounds). ;)

People fire 20 rounds of Remington UMC bought from Wal-mart for $6.60 a box and don't think about giving a full mag to the new guy at the range, much less a friend. Why would 3 or 4 rounds of 40mm chalk rounds be any different? :)

Heck, I'd buy some practice rounds just for the conversation factor.

/Then I also have an excuse to buy a launcher in the future.

Wow!!!
I feel lucky, I picked up 200 rounds of sealed blue tip
in March for a grand, I hadn't bought any for 5 years.
I thought I had paid a premium......I was wrong.
People have been advertising them lately for $6
to $7.50 each...I even saw one of you guys asking
$250 for a case of 25....that's nuts!!!!
I guess if you are going to just hang on to them you can
pay whatever.......someday they will meet up with that price.
