Efiling a form 1 with a trust?
Efiling a form 1 with a trust?
Been a while since I did a form 1 . 5 years or so. In any case I want to form 1 a 300 BLK SIG AR-15 as a 10.5 inch SBR. I see theres an ATF efile thing now. Whats that all about and can I use it with a trust ? What documentation will I need to send them?

It's pretty easy.
Just remember to fill it out using your trust name and make sure the make and model of the host gun are correct.

You will need a PDF copy of your trust to upload (A good scan of the final signed copy). You attach that in the attachment section and away you go. Super easy and I think it's a 30-45 day turn around right now.

Yep, super easy. I just submitted one to SBR my Ruger 77/357, hopefully I get an approval quickly.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

It is definitely the way to go. I had one back in 35 or so days last August, I just put in another one at the beginning of the month.

I just had an eform1 come back right around 45 days. Previously december timeframe) it was a few days over a month.

Wow. That was pretty easy. I'm assuming I did it right. In any case who'd of though the ATF would come up with an easy way of doing things. Now if they can just do the same with form 4's.

Decided to run my "firearm" through the process instead of the SIG. Here is is without a buttstock
