Along with the others I wish I would of done the trust first. I do have an executed trust with one can on it and understand the $200 per transfer. I've been searching here and google, I'm looking for a 'DEFINITIVE' guide for Individual move to Trust, does anyone have a detailed guide ( I wan't to cross ALL the i's and dot All the t's the first time) or know where an example might be? I have several individual items I need to move to my trust.
Thanks in advance....

Individual move to Trust
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
...Jesus Christ and the American G. I.
...One died for your soul; the other for your freedom.

Re: Individual move to Trust
If you've already got one in your trust, and a couple in your personal individual name, you just fill out a Form 4 from you, John Q. Smith, to you, John Q. Smith, Trustee- use the Form 4 for the can that the trust already has approved as a template in the Transferee section. You're overthinking this.

You need to form4 it directly to the trust, not "you" as the trustee.
2a Transferee is XYZ Living Trust.
3a Transferor is you personally.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

If he lives in a state that requires a dealer involved in all transfers, he would need one right? Not needed here but I know some places require a dealer for "Firearm" Transfers. Just ran into that on the C&R side of things.

Good point- hadn't thought of that. Oh, and RJT is absolutely correct too.Joker31D wrote:If he lives in a state that requires a dealer involved in all transfers, he would need one right?
