Cheap SBR case

$20. Bought a few. Work great for 10.5" SBR's.

I use these. . .

Edit to add: They're around 10 bucks. What I really like though, is the "urban camouflage".

got the same wilson bag for mine, carried mine to the gym and everything, the guy working there asked me if I wanted him to put it in a locker... Nah I'm fine, I put my phone and stuff in there was the polite reply, nevermind the 3 pmags in the zipper portion with my phone and keys.

I use this. Relatively discrete, and it holds my 8" 300BLK with the suppressor mounted (Omega).

I don't look much like a tennis player...

How about a canvas yoga bag? What could be more discrete than someone thinking you are headed to do some Downward Dog action, and KAPOW!!! SBR at the ready! (Yes, the red dot is in wrong place, was just slapping it on to see if height of sight would still allow fit into case with a 30rd mag...it's place on the receiver instead of the rail now)...

Thanks for the idea, BadKarmaZeroSix. What's the exact brand and model of yours?

What I can't stand are these companies that sell "discreet" cases with PALS/MOLLE webbing or velcro all over the place. And especially in colors like black/FDE/coyote.

I'm all for discreet so I used to transport around my 16" in a folding camp chair bag. It seems these days all the new chairs are slimmer so either the bag is too small and an AR won't fit or it prints badly.

My 12.5" SBR is right at 28" OAL so these yoga mat bags look perfect. Right now I carry it broken down in a backpack although it barely fits. The red arrow shows the barrel kinda sticking out but it's not noticeable unless you're looking for it.

A $12 Nike baseball bat bag from big 5 works well too.

I always felt that the AR in the metal tool box was the best for discretion. Nobody is more invisible than a blue collar service worker.

Image

It seems to exude "there is nothing of value in this container" especially if the tool box is all scratched and rusted. Wouldn't be hard to buy new and make the metal tool box look like it is not worth someone's time.

This is a great idea... but I can see someone running off with it thinking there is a tool inside worth a trade for a bag weed or soemthing.
