We have a rarely seen MP2 9mm Machine Pistol on a Form 4 in TN that is going up for sale.
It has been in the same owner's collection since 1986, and has a very low round count.
The gun will come with 2 magazines and a new Storm Case.
We are trying to nail down the actual value or suggested price for this gun.
I thought I would ask the experts here on ST and see what you guys had to say.

I think the auction
I think the auction started at 3k is a good idea and hopefully one of they guys who thinks it is worth 10k bids it up for you.
NFA shooters blow their load with only one pull of the trigger.
Purchased by original owner 4/14/86 from Music City Arms, Co. Nashville, TN.mac man wrote:Just wanted to know when firearm was made?
I dont know the original manufacture date.
Form 4 signed by Metro Nashville Police on 4/16/86
Form 4 approved and stamp issued 8/28/86
Not bad considering the time frame this was happening.

Certainly a primitive looking weapon. Sounds like it might be an interesting piece for a collector maybe. I'd second the motion to start it at 3k and see what happens.

Looks as if it was made in a garage - late at night.

Yea, this is one of many firearms that is only interesting because of it's rate of fire. Nothing else about it does anything for me at all.FB3 wrote:Looks as if it was made in a garage - late at night.
The semi-auto version should be worth about $129.99.
Educate me. Is there some unusual/interesting history behind it's design or manufacturer? Any reason it's collectable besides it's an auto?

What it worth? No idea.
What I'd be willing to pay? $2,000 max.
But I'm def more into shouder fired MG's.

No, never caught that.
I wonder how much he got for it?
