Fastest cycling sub gun?

Post by Maser »

Was going to ask this at TFL, but it seems to be down now or at least it is for me. So I'll ask here.

What's the fastest shooting sub gun? I used to think it was the G18, but got corrected on that a couple years ago, but totally forgot what was told to me about the real fastest firing sub gun. I'm asking this question just for informative research and to maybe find a vid of it in action on YouTube or somewhere.

Thanks.

Micro UZIs and M11 subguns have been pushed close to 2000rpm

The AM180 22lr shoots around 1800 factory.

Thanks a bunch David!

The AM180 sounds very familiar and I think that was the gun told to me. I'm looking into it now. On a side note I'd like to see how fast a FA .22SR would cycle.

EDIT: Dang! That thing is SWEET!

Someone over on UziTalk has his M11/9 jacked up over 2k. I doubt any transferable stock stuff will beat 1800 though...

I had a converted UZI carbine smg for my first gun. I had a semi auto IMI plastic bolt conversion kit, that put into the open bolt gun would run full auto so fast that it was not reliable at all. But when it ran it was quick. I don't not how quick but when I would give it to people to try with the 15rnd magazine it had they would shoot it and then say it only fired once than quit. I would point out that what they thought was one shot was 15.

My MAC with MAC JACK and extra long magazine springs would empty 30 rounds in about 8/10s of a second. Once I had a bunch of rounds through it like that, I found that I preferred it to the stock ~1,200 RPM. I could squeeze off singles, doubles, and triples with ease. I sorta miss that gun, but my tastes changed so I sold it (and at no small profit.)

There was a thread about that video a while back. In the thread Silvers commented about the ROF but Iam not sure what it was running... something in the 1900rpm range IIRC. He later discovered there was a part missing from the conversion, anti bounce buffer or something along those lines causeing the high ROF.

I have actually shot the M11 in the video, and I remember him saying something about 2900-3000 RPM.

My M11/9 shoots right at 1100 RPM stock, and I have been told I can get the ROF up over 2000 RPM by double buffering or using a MAC Jack.

I was going to try this with my M11 and SWR Trident. Henry said it was a big no no. Still may Mac Jack it without the can.

Actually the stock SWD m11/9 is faster then that, more like 1400 rpm.
There are several ROF test on uzi talk using different ammo avg was over 1400.

Scroll down this one was using a stock m11 and Winnchester White Box 115gn ammo.

Actually if you think about it... It's not far off, I believe there are Mini guns that have RPM settings of 2k and 4k RPM, it's right in between those two figures.

You should hear that thing without the suppressor. I'll Email him and see if he has any videos of it un-suppressed.
