SBR question

Post by 8th SPS USAF »

I have an RRA AR 15 9mm 16 " Upper with a screw on can.

I sent in for a RRA 10.5" BBL upper

I sent in the form 1 to do this

Question: When I get my stamp and install the 10.5"

upper and use the can, will I still have to load/shoot sub sonic

9mm in it or can I use regular 9mm 115/125?

Thank you

Subsonic: yes.

You also need to do a search for "constructive intent." Do not be caught having all the parts for your new SBR in your possession before you get your Form 1 approval, even if they are not assembled. The easiest way to do this is not to possess your barrel until you get your Form 1 back.

No short barrel = no SBR.

You can shoot any 9mm ammo in it. 115 gr is fine.
Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end......

Thanks, the upper will never be in my possession till the paperwork
gets here. So if I get this right-I could use regular 9mm in my SBR
with the suppressor and it will work?

It will work....but subsonic will be quieter. You will still get the sonic crack with the 115/124
