Best dealer sample for Glock auto-switch backplates?
Ok folks, we've finally found a LEO official in our area who will sign some demo letters for our shop. He wants to see a select-fire backplate to use on their Glocks. He does NOT want a Glock 18. Which company here in the US makes the best one? I'd hate to do the work and then find out I got the wrong giggle-switch.

I got mine from a guy in UT
[email protected]
Thats his email
The problem with the switch is that the sear has to be fitted to each gun because the trigger bars are stamped out for mass production and vary a little between them all
They can also be finicky mine has gone auto a couple of times on semi setting it was just a burst though
I would just go with the 18 if i were you also the gen4 dont make good hosts for the switch get a gen3 and get the stock for it

Also Glock made some changes to the slide to prevent the switch plate conversion. You might need to modify the slide.
If this is for fun, go for it, put it on an older Glock (Gen 2 early Gen 3).
If the LEO really want to use it, get a G18.

There was a place in OH i think it was a cop supply store that had some
I had my switch on a Gen4 with no problems the only thing you have to mod is a little cutout on the frame for the sear
I just tell people that want them to get the Gen3 or earlier so they can put a stock on it because its a handful

I'll check into the slide changes. Our Glock armorer here on staff said that it was only frame changes, other than the dual-recoil springs between the Gen 3 and 4.mpallett wrote:Also Glock made some changes to the slide to prevent the switch plate conversion. You might need to modify the slide.
