Piers Morgan has done it again, this time saying that both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution are "inherently flawed" and need new "amendments."

Go back to England or whatever hole you slimed your way out of, Piers.

That is a man who doesn't understand the concept of principles, inalienable rights, or anything of the sort. His mortal soul has been washed away in a sea of moral relativism.

The dead giveaway was when he had Penn Gillette as a guest -- then he was mister Church of England incarnate, angrily railing against every one of Penn's heathen atheist opinions and statements.
A tabloid whore on CNN. Gee what a surprise.

My SSNcN believes you are using the term "man" fairly loosely. He supposes it might apply in the biological sense. Maybe.Syntax360 wrote:That is a man who doesn't understand the concept of principles, inalienable rights, or anything of the sort. His mortal soul has been washed away in a sea of moral relativism.
What amount of a man is composed of his own collection of experiences... and the conclusions that those experiences have allowed him to "know" for certain as "Truth"? :Ick

I've heard old Piers is now saying that we Americans just hate Brits and that's why he has had such a negative response. What a fucking idiot.

I really liked the Brits until I met some of them.

My only problem with the Brits has to do with Northern Ireland. Other than that, I have no feelings one way or another. And really, Northern Ireland has to deal with the British Government, not the British people per se.

+1 on that. The British used loyalist infiltration to do most of their dirty work. Divide & conquer. One thing about hardcore Brits though...when push comes to shove, they'll gut you with a Fairbairn-Sykes and roll you off a cliff. I'm glad we have them as allies.misfit762 wrote:My only problem with the Brits has to do with Northern Ireland. Other than that, I have no feelings one way or another. If you ever needed an example of the people that inspired the Founding Fathers in the 1770's, look no further. Accent and all.
As an aside, Henry the VIII thought the same way. The Catholic Church didn't like his marriage track record, nor his nasty habit of beheading. So he created the Anglican Church, a religion indistinguishable from the interests of the state. Gee, I wonder why the First Amendment came first...
