Awesome concept, I just hope we don't see another Waco, TX event. Having a city makes for an easy airstrike/assault, and we all know how much the feds like to burn stuff... I think smaller groups scattered about would be more effective. Its sad that patriots are now labeled as terrorists

I seem to recall that this was done once already. IIRC it was based around a firearms training center; something like ThunderRanch or some such.

The CNS article doesn't mention it, but III Arms in WV is going to move and set up their company in the Citadel in Idaho. They manufacture AR-15s and 1911s. It seems that the owners of III Arms are part of setting this up and aim to provide a base of good paying jobs.

My observation as an outsider is that 2000-3000 acres for 3500-7000 families is not enough land, when you consider an Industry area for businesses plus having land for gardens and fields. Why would a family want to move to rural Idaho and live in a high-rise?

You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time...and those are pretty good odds.

Probably more like a missile silo.johndoe3 wrote:... live in a high-rise?
ETA: Well the housing calculator will let you plan for buying as much as 40 acres "outside the walls" or up to 1 acre "inside the walls". Looks like they plan to have a lot of people on .25 acres.

Sounds like the neighborhood version of the dude in the mall wearing the "shoot me first" gun-guy-vest and orange shades.
