As I recall, horsemeat is lacking in some vitamin that the human body requires. There is only a problem if that is the only meat you have. As far as a once a week on the menu goes, there's no problem that I know of.poikilotrm wrote:What's wrong with horse? It tastes good.

had it several times. cannot recall what the cut was, but tasted like lean beef - went down fine and stayed down.

Eating horses like eating a dog. It's all meat but if you got a dog and then you eat dog all you can think about is your best buddy getting grilled. Just like if you have a horse then eat horse you just see you best riding buddy getting cut up and grilled.
