When he first went over for an official visit he gave the queen some CD's as a gift and I think he also sent back a bust of Winston Churchill that was a gift from them.

Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) is sending “a U.S. delegation that will consist of two men who would be traveling as private citizens to the funeral already.”

My understanding was that they were both friends of Margaret's and were attending anyway. In short, the U.S. in reality has no official envoy making a special effort to honor her. A sad day, really.
