As a matter of fact, I was just delayed for several hours last week because of the background check.
I've never had so much as a speeding ticket or anything else and I'm the one treated like a criminal, delayed, have to come back to the gun shop, etc.

I've been dealing with this for 5-6 years now. It's never an "instant check", always a wait. 15 minutes to next day.
