McQuilliams, 49, also started a fire at the consulate and may have been carrying bombs, police said. During the rampage, a cop shot the suspect with one hand while holding onto two horses with the other. It’s unclear if the officer’s bullet killed the man or if he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
