I've sat on Juries where the Jurors just wanted to get back to work/family.
In one Case, all 8 Prosecution witnesses testified that the guy was Innocent. Yet our 1st vote was 3/9 Guilty/Not.
The reason: the charge was so serious that they wanted to "send a message."
I asked, "What message. That if you're innocent you're going to Prison?"
By the last vote, the tally changed to 10/2. The reason given: "I have already missed too much work" and "I just want to get back to my family."
So they were willing to send an Innocent man to Prison and destroy his family, just because it inconvenienced them.
After all, everyone pays taxes to pay for Unlawful Imprisonment. Yet sitting on a Jury is a PERSONAL imposition. So according to Game Theory, it's easier just to send innocent people to prison than to have a trial....Until THEY are the ones in Prison.

If this includes grand juries, I am all for it. Also, grand jury testimony from all parties should be recorded, and any deliberate false statements should have minimum sentences with no QI for prosecutors.
The moments I was censored was the moment that I won. That's twice, now. Thanks jwbaker, et al, for my victories.
