Church Concealed Carry--it's a good thing

Post by johndoe3 »

Here in Colorado, we have had church carry for a long time, even though
by State Law, churches are a protected sanctuary (police on duty have to get
permission to enter unless in hot pursuit of a criminal).

The story below is about the September 24, 2017 church shooting in
Nashville, TN, which shows again why church CCW is a good thing.

The shooter in Nashville is from Sudan, although he went to high school and community
college here in the USA. It's unknown whether the shooter is a muslim.

The shooter was physically confronted by a 22-year old man in the church, and the
shooter pistol-whipped him in the head. The CCW holder then ran outside to his car (CCW permit)
and grabbed his gun and ran back into the church and confronted the shooter. The
shooter then shot himself in the head after having shot 7 people in the church and
one woman outside (1 killed and 7 wounded).

Result: a good guy with a gun stopped the mass killing in progress.
You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time...and those are pretty good odds.
