Walmart shooting in Colorado, good guys stopped it

Like in Sutherland TX on Sunday where a good guy with a gun stopped the mass shooting in progress, a similar thing happened last Wednesday in a Thornton Colorado Walmart. The shooter shot and killed 3 Walmart shoppers and at least two other Walmart shoppers pulled their concealed carry guns. The mass shooter stopped when confronted by armed good guys, and left the store. It's likely that the good guys with concealed carry guns stopped what could have been a much greater body count.

None of the concealed carry good guys with a gun shot at the Walmart mass shooter (maybe there were too many people present and bystanders could have been hit??). Nonetheless, a mass shooting was stopped by good guys with guns.

Note: the police blame the good guys with guns for impeding their investigation via the surveillance video, saying, it took some hours before the police could decide from the video which person with a gun was the mass shooter. Once determined the police were able to arrest the shooter as he drove by his apartment to see if the police were on to him.

The sister of the Walmart shooter, who murdered 3 people, weighed in with...he's a good man...
Michelle Willoughby, 43, said she’s unhappy with how stepbrother Scott Allen Ostrem has been portrayed on social media.

“My brother is not this monster,” said Willoughby, who lives in Cocoa Beach, Fla. “He is not cold blooded. He hears these voices. Honestly, in my heart, I believe there is only so much a person can take.

“I never thought something like this would happen.”
Willoughby believes she can trace what led to the fatal shooting to a drug party her brother attended in 1988, where he ingested 16 doses of the powerful hallucinogen LSD. His life and the lives of his family members were forever changed, she said. But Ostrem only received counseling from his priest and never saw a mental health professional, she said.
They used to have places where they locked away people like this, who hear voices (schizophrenic). Now they are in towns where they wash your window at a stoplight for a handout, or panhandle in front of supermarkets--will work for food, but none want to work when asked (they're only accepting donations today).

Funny how that works when people can defend themselves.
