NRA Carry Guard has lost both underwriter and insurer

The extensive NRA Carry Guard self-defense insurance program has lost both their program administrator and the overall insurer in the last 7 days. I haven't heard anything from the NRA on what they are going to do about it.

Lockton Affinity LLC was the program administrator for the NRA Carry Guard program, handling signups, administrative duties and initial coverage. Chubb insured the NRA CArry Guard program as an insurance pool, leaving all customer interaction with Lockton Affinity. Both have announced they are pulling out of the program as part of this stupid NRA boycott.

If the NRA Carry Guard program collapses, there are certainly other programs equal to or exceeding what customers got through NRA Carry Guard. Two big ones are the U.S. Concealed Carry Association program, and the Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network (also U.S. Law Shield, CCW Safe, Second Call Defense).
You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time...and those are pretty good odds.

The actual company behind the program underwriting the risk is Lloyds of London. Regular United State insurance markets were not willing to offer this coverage.

This is no surprise to me.
