Alaska Socialist Rifle Association first shoot day

A couple of weeks ago, the first public shooting day for the Socialist Rifle Association of Alaska met to shoot and share cameraderie--the two members, men aged 30 and 34. The two members of the SRA of Alaska refused to reveal their names to the interviewer.
So why the anonymity? Both say they’re worried about their jobs. The pipeline worker said he often talks politics while on the job. But he’s worried that his managers could fire him for his unorthodox associations. There are no First Amendment protections in the workplace.

“And I don’t want to scare anyone in my workplace with this. Because it is, it’s a really sensitive issue,” he added.

It is sensitive. Organizing around guns and ideology in a polarized political climate has potential dangers.
Heh, heh, two members!

Does a Socialist who is pro-gun want the government to provide free ammo, like they want free medical care, or a free Obamaphone?
You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time...and those are pretty good odds.

Of course, and the proper sort of government will. Laverenti Beria’s men always had ammo, as did Che’s men, the STASI, the Peronista’s, etc, etc.
The moments I was censored was the moment that I won. That's twice, now. Thanks jwbaker, et al, for my victories.
