Lake City Ammo Plant to be run now by Winchester/Olin

Olin/Winchester was awarded the contract to run the Lake City Ammunition Plant starting in 2020 for 5 years, and with options could run it until 2029 under this contract. They had previously run it from 1985-2000.
From 2001 to 2019 the Lake City Plant was run by Federal (Alliant Techsystems (ATK) which later became Orbital ATK, and later Orbital ATK was purchased by Northrop Grumman in 2018), lately under the name Northrop Grumman.
So...all those bulk ammo sales by Federal for civilian 5.56/.223 ammo manufactured at the Lake City Plant currently floating about will likely dry up over the next year. Might be time to stock up if you want to.
