There's a good way to get TMJ...
Re: Open Wide: NSN “No Stock Needed” “Stock” for AR-15 Pisto
I was reading an article about the Kel-Tec PLR; a "pistol" that uses the 5.56/223
One of the highlights of this piece is that the buffer is placed over the barrel, so there isn't that dorky tube sticking out of the end -- but that's not why I bring it up. I bring it up because in the article I was reading, the author used a shoulder-strap, and then extended the pistol away from the body until the strap was taut.... that was the stabilizing method. Not a lot of stabilization compared to an actual butt-stock, but possibly more than the chin-stock.... and probable more comfortable too.
The chin-stock is an idea, but I predict minimal market acceptance.

This the way the HK MP5K needed to be deployed if you wanted accurate shoots.
As far as the chin stock goes I give "+1" for thinking outside the norm but I'll pass as I do not want to rattle my teeth from there roots!

250?? For a long buffer tube with finger that poke you in the face? It looks to me like the wings people put on comp handguns to keep them from laying flat on the table.
