Nice, I am guessing that Ruger Jr. now running the show has chosen to be on the right side of all attempted "civilian disarmament" issues. It has taken Ruger (the brand) years to wipe off the stain of the late Ruger Sr.'s treachery in regards to the 1994 gun ban.
You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time...and those are pretty good odds.

It's a nice gesture, but I have been told by an actual Congressman that e-mail and form letters are the least-regarded method of communication. They're sort of just counted up by staffers and treated like polling data, more or less. Phone calls are second-lowest, physically-mailed-in letters may occasionally actually be read, and in a bizarre admission of how backwards and outdated our government is, faxed letters are the most likely to be read. Of course, I was told this almost ten years ago, so that may have changed. But since then, I have recently read that e-mail campaigns still aren't considered interesting. No mention was made of telegrams or smoke signals.

I'm not sure how to respond to that...
Ten years ago...I guess go back in your shell and disregard, some of us feel the need to do what we can.

Re: An easy way to send a letter to your representatives
The most effective way to get representatives' ears is to
raise monies loudly and openly, mentioning their names
for removal from office, and getting fire brands to run against
them.
Beware of the slithering Harry Reid, and his ilk, whom the NRA
gave funding to, believing his phony bleating that he was
for the Second Amendment when he feared losing his election.
Now it is " ... fooled you again, dummies."
And, a pox ( the clap) on each and everyone of those 3 million Republicans
who stayed home during the last election. [ Imagery of them

I write letters all the time. Mostly about the FairTax, though.
