22/45 Lite or SR22 a better host?

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

I tried to place picture in here, but received the following message "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image", which is why I had to place a url link to the pictures.

I have a Ruger MkIII 22/45 with Tactical Solutions threaded upper (back before the LITE was available).

It is a great combo, and I love shooting it. The AAC Pilot is the same diameter, and it just looks good together.

However, I also have a S&W M&P22, and it seems quieter than the 22/45. I really like it.

It is a full-size pistol (same dimensions as the M&P9), so it fits my big paws better than others.

Been thinking of getting a 22/45 myself. Especially since I want to suppress and put a scope on it for small game hunting.

Right now, I have a browning 1911-22, but man is there a ton of blow back when you run it suppressed.

I tried to use the picture hosting site again, but I get the error message from this site stating "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image".
