75g 223 and suppressors

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

75g 223 and suppressors

Post by Burt Gummer »

Should I be safe shooting 75g ammo through an FS2000 (1:7 twist rate - I believe so) and/or a Noveske Low Pro 5.56 14.5 upper (1:9 I believe).

The last thing I need is a baffle strike on my new M4-2000. Thanks

PS - good deal - http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm? ... 18|830|845

Ouch, if that is a good price I would hate to see what a bad price is. I am glad I roll my own for around .10 a round!

I would run the information you have through a stability calculator and see if it will be stabile or not.

I would run it myself and give you the answer but I am on my Iphone.
