Do these Silencerco ads seem like a good idea to ANYONE?

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

I see on this thread the same customer interaction i have experienced from Silencerco as a dealer. These guys actually get what customer relations are about. I have the posters hanging in my shop and most people think they are funny, they have no intention of actually recreating them. I understand the outside media side also. We as can lovers do not need to take ourselves too seriously it is about having fun as quietly as we can.

Thank you Gary. This was very generous.

I really applaud the work that Silencerco/SWR has done for suppressor awareness in the U.S.

But in my opinion the message does not really convey well with these, if it has to be explained further on even to gun owners.

Keep doing the good work that you are doing now

Best Regards!

Sad face... I'm too late. I will say this however. I think they are funny. I don't really give two shits, what gun haters think.

I'm sure most folks here think it's funny. I certainly do. I just think that it's not good politics. It'd be like getting Daniel Tosh to do a commercial for... just about anything. It'd probably be funny, but it's not going to be received well by the McDonald's eating, American Idol watching masses. Yes, the 2nd Amendment deniers are going to spin whatever is put out there. But let's not help them.
