I had a trident and upgraded to a Octane 9 HD. I recently found a trident 3-lug I forgot I had and emailed SWR asking if I could swap it out for an Octane 9HD 3-lug adaptor. They promptly responded and graciously agreed and let me swap them out. Wouldn't even let me pay return postage!

These guys are great! Right up there with Lage Mfg for outstanding customer service.

Thanks for making a great product and then being so great to your customers!

When you say "upgrade"...did you buy a second can outright. Or is there a trade-in program for trident owners that can get a discount on an octane 9 hd? From what I understand, they (swr) can't simply jailbreak/re-core an existing trident 9 (similar to what silencerco did with the with the sparrow).

Debating whether to jailbreak my trident 9 or get a newer style can...

Bought a new Octane can and sold the Trident.

A friend had light end cap strikes on his Spectre II because of a Tactical Innovations adapter. Called customer service, bam, new end cap. He got an SWR adapter which is perfect. No more strikes.

Yep I bought a Spectre 2 and it didn't have a take down tool in the box. 1 email later I had a replacement no questions asked. This makes me want to keep buying their products and telling everybody how good they are.

If they are so great, how come they haven't figured out how to retrofit the HEMS2 to Octane guts?
