SRI is Melonite treating Sparrow tubes!

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

SilencerShop has been waiting on a 400 Sparrows since June. The form 3 is taking a really long time. This gov shutdown isn't helping things. :-(

.Gov shutdown doesn't affect the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of them in circulation(approved F4's and SOT inventory) right now though.

Okay, I am in for the tube.
I would be in for the entire can too.

how about someone at the shop with good looking hand writing use one of those electric engraves to write the serial #onto each part? It would take less set up time than lasers.

Danomite,

There is no need to engrave all the individual pieces, we have a way to keep all YOUR pieces together and not mixed with anyone elses. So that is no longer an issue.

Could a third option be possible at this point... just the tube and endcap?

Was considering the tube treatment only. But then there would be a color mismatch.

Yes we can do just the tube and the endcap but unfortunately can not offer a different price point for this run.

1K+ rounds. I'm on my second trip through the dip. No change in the surface. You guys want this treatment.

I want my M11/9 SMG Melonite treated. Group buy? :)
If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst or explode, it's not worth shooting.

Sorry, this run is only for Sparrows.

If it is a success then we will do more runs in the future and will expand what we will run.

So we can't send just the tube and endcap for the $30 price?

Future runs will be done differently but for this run we are running it only as described in the initial posting.

I'm in also. Just got off the phone with sri asking the same question about my M11A1. Who is close enough to twist sri's wrist?

If SRI can get it arranged, I have some barrels (stainless steel threaded for suppressors) that would GREATLY benefit from melonite treatments.

Also considering eventually getting an octane 9 HD2.... think they would benefit from some melonite treatment?
Suppressors cost less than hearing aids..

We have done barrels in the past and we still offer that service.

Yes, the Octane could benefit from treatment.

Give me a ring and we can chat about those specs. Don't want to clutter and distract from this thread.

Glad I logged in….Been busy. I don't have your email Bender, but I will send you a "contact us" email to your company's website. Hopefully, that will work. If not, please let me know.

EDIT: Also, I see you have done barrels in the past and still offs the service. I did not see the service elite do your website. What does treatment of pistol barrels cost? Would it be the same type of RMA process for those, as well.

Thanks for all your hard work on this stuff!
