New Octane 45HD and Can't Use It

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

I received my approved Form 4 for a new SWR Octane 45HD about 5 or six weeks ago and still cannot get a .574 x 28 piston for it.
The piston was ordered and paid for with the can, but was not available when the can shipped to my dealer. I have been trying to get one, but the standard answer is "they are on backorder".

Seems strange that the suppressors are available and common pistons are not. Quite frustrating. Anyone have one is stock?

I noticed on question 4a(Name and address of Manufacturer) you put Silencerco LLC. Im getting ready to fill out my form 4 for an Octane 9. On the SWR website it lists their address as SWR instead of Silencerco LLC. Can I put SWR and the address for question 4a?
Thank you

IB, I don't know about that. My dealer fills out the Form 4's. This one worked, so I guess since they merged it is OK.

SWR is a SilencerCo company. Thats why it was made by SilencerCo as the manufacturer.

I have seen other SWR cans since the acquisition wear the same address.

Not like you could EVER find someone based on a serial or that it would do ANYTHING at all, its nothing more than a number unless you have unrestricted access to the NFRTR.

There are easier ways of finding out who he is.

That said, I was merely pointing out the fact that he was inconsistent... and sloppy.

If you need any SWR/Silencerco pistons I have a few of the 0.578x28 and 1/2x28 Osprey/Octane pistons in stock currently.

E-mail me if you need one.

OUCH! right on the form LOL I sw where he blocked it on the can.

I'm using a Eee clam shell so I have to save pics and blow them up for real detail, And didn't bother.

Guess I'm as good a investigator and he is a crook LOL.
