Graduation gift.

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Graduation gift.

Post by LeftEyeMike »

So I'm looking at getting a little graduation gift. A. 30cal can.

I can decide between the new swr7.62 or the yhm4300.

Can would be used on a 300blk sbr, 11.5" ar, 20" ar, and 300 win mag savage 110.

Does anyone have any input?

SWR hands down, I would even consider the YHM when you are looking at the SWR its phenomenally a better deal and much better quality of products than YHM.

There might be 10 guys out there that would love to talk to you about their Arbiter.

Just do yourself a favor and go with the SWR. There is likely no better can in your budget range. You could step up to Surefire or wait for the 762 Saker, but those are going to be an increase in cash. You could step across to AAC's current line, but the SWR mount is roughly the same as the AAC but seems from the handling I've gotten on them to lock up better. All bets on are off when AAC gets around to new product someday, but for now, the SWR is probably the best sub-$1000 qd can out there.

Also, the durability/versatility video/example for the SWR 762 is pretty great. I recommend that then go look for anything even sort of similar from YHM.

Time to start calling and see if any dealers in MO have any in stock (yeah right), or can get a reasonable order time.
