I found this on nbcnews.com this morning, and it is a very interesting read. It details Kevin's rapid exodus from AAC and resulting lawsuit against Freedom Group.

Conglomerate bureaucracy sucks. Kevin sold out way too soon. Personally i think he shouldnt have sold out period.

Thank you for pointing out this interesting article that we would have missed.
At least they are trying to bring sound suppressors out of the shadows.

Very interesting. As far as Kevin making the deal in the first place, I think it was probably smart. Remington has a lot of resources and probably can expand the market for silencers. That being said any time a company changes hands, there will be changes and the AAC we all knew and loved will be different from now on. It's certainly a shame for Kevin and I think, at least with the info I've read, he got hosed. Even if he did have some of his personal guns there, he used to OWN the company. That seems like a s--t reason to fire someone, especially in that circumstance.

Shot show parties . . . you can "silencer shoot" to the "Will Never Happen Again" list as well.

IIRC it was 10 up front, and then a payout of another 10 (IIRC) over a period of time. BUT, the loophole is to fire him before that time runs up, and they don't have to pay anymore. He got hosed.
