free online gun trust template

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

This looks very well done. Is this spefically for Ohio or just Guaranteed to be valid for Ohio because that is the state listed in the trust? I happen to be in Ohio so this seems like a very good option!! Thanks alot for posting this, Lookin forward to seeing what others think.

So you guys want the only thing keeping you from unlawful possession of an NFA item to be a trust you found on the internet? Ok, sure.

The true test of its validity isn't whether ATF accepts it, but whether it holds up to legal scrutiny when an aggressive prosecutor challenges it. Heck, even ATF could start scrutinizing them if they just wanted to reduce the number of transferables in circulation. You could get lucky and they might even offer not to prosecute if you just forfeit whatever you thought the trust owned. But the money you're saving won't even pay for a retainer.

Having a qualified lawyer write it up is basically prosecution insurance for unlawful possession. Imagine all the money you could save by not having car insurance, or health insurance. Until you need that insurance, then it gets really expensive.

Good luck with that.

That is a direct rip-off of David Goldman's basic gun trust. The OP's trust nonetheless. His co-trustees are still listed.

There's no personal identification/copyright marks on every page like there should be.

If you want to be legally pursued by the most well known NFA trust lawyer in the country, go right ahead and use it.

OP should be banned btw.

Who's David Goldman?

I Was hoping that this would be a template that was put together by an NFA Lawyer. Too bad...

I'm guessing the names are fake. Clark Kent probably doesn't need an NFA trust.

Just pony up the few hundred dollars to buy a trust or set up an LLC. If you can't afford that, then how can you afford the NFA items to put in the trust?

If you're determined to use something "free" from the internet, ATF will happily accept invalid trusts all day long. But if it's ever challenged and is the only thing keeping you from an unlawful possession charge, there's a nonzero possibility it'll be worth exactly what you paid for it.

I removed the original post. I was going to delete the entire thread, but I will leave it so that people have a source for a lawyer who can do this.

Bravo. A class act, Sir.

It is a shame that our species is replete with short con
grifters. As the French so subtly but devastatingly describe,
they were not brought up properly.

Bump for David Goldman. My trust came from him, its well written, it got all the legal tidbits only a lawyer would think of. David himself is a class act, he responds promptly to messages/calls, and was very willing to accommodate my particular needs. Granted, I have yet to have a need to put the trust to the legal test but it’s much better than anything else on the web I found. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a gun trust.
