Would silicone cookwear withstand the heat of a hot suppressor if one used it as a cut-to-fit cover? Or would it just melt to the outside of the tube?

Depends on what your putting it on. I think it would melt when the temp of the can get's above 600 degrees. http://www.riflesonly.com/store/TAB/sas.htmlWhiteKnight wrote:Would silicone cookwear withstand the heat of a hot suppressor if one used it as a cut-to-fit cover? Re: Suppressor Cover
I bought one of those for my bolt action 308 and love it. No way I would put one on a carbine for fast shooting scenarios though. Its really best as a mirage stopper for an optically equipped silenced weapon.csfirearms wrote:Depends on what your putting it on.
