Gentleman, even those intimate with firearms who I associate with have called me a "gun nerd," and today I have again proven it to be so.
The link below is the site of a Finnish photographer who has a thing for capturing bullets in flight and at the muzzle. About 2/3rd's down the page, he has a side by side comparison of a .22lr leaving the muzzle both unsuppressed and suppressed that I believe you all will find intriguing. It would be interesting if someone were to use a transparent sleeve on a suppressor that only had to survive one shot so that we could visibly see the capturing of gas and subsequent turbulence by the baffles and design.
