Container for spare pistol barrels?

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Container for spare pistol barrels?

Post by wacki »

Just curious, what do you keep your pistol barrels in? I'm guessing a small tackle box will win but figured I'd poll for other ideas.

or 4" PVC storage tube.

I bought a kilo of it in 1965 and still have some left in a sealed jar.
Really works on for all metals.

Plano fishing tackle tray with the evaporust plates in it.

Have had barrels in them for years and years. Every 5 years I get a new one, never a single bit of rust on any of them and all in one spot!

Sorry I was wrong they are made by Flambeau not Plano...

I get them at Walmart, they are like 10-12 bucks.

This is similar to the ones i get, the blue tabs last 5 years. I think they have been out about 6 year now, only replaced them once.

If you buy them from metal shops you can get them for about a buck apiece.....$15 is ridiculous.
