My Warlock II works well on my Ruger SR22P. I put it on my SIG 522 today and there was no discernible difference in sound. Is this what I should expect from a rifle with a suppressor?
I was shooting Federal Lightning and Aguila target. Both function well and are accurate, but no change in the report.

Yea its normal. You are shooting super sonic ammo. . .
Your pistol has a shorter barrel, shorter distance for the gases to expand, meaning the round is slower.
Shoot sub sonics.

Re: Is this normal
Well the Aguila target should be subsonic or close. But even when shooting the hv stuff through a rifle with my Sparrow I can tell a big difference. Get some known subsonic ammo and it should be far quieter. If I use subs through a pistol with the can and subs through a rifle also, the rifle easily wins in quietness.

CCI standard vel is all you need. Better ammo too.
