Glock 17 recoil spring

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Comments:

You can never tell sound from video.

The videos were taken at different places / times

The videos were filmed from different angles / positions.

If it's on the internet then it must be true, because you can't put anything on the internet that's not true.

very winded non scientific vid. I don't think he said how many rounds he had on the stock spring. (not going to watch again!)

If his ear hurt he must of had a old spring. I notice people never replace their Glock springs and they cost nothing! Seen a 40sw beat to death because of this. Shooting suppressed can weaken a spring faster too. I have a new gen3 G19 , the spring is stiff and is quiet, drops brass only a few feet with my subsonic reloads loads. He never say what powder he uses either!

If you do play with springs, put the stock one back for carry.
