Storm Lake barrels

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

A site is selling Storm Lake barrels for the Colt .45. barrel, link & pin, barrel bushing, threaded barrel and protector.
Anyone have opinions on this product.
Thanks

Never used them but the company was recommended to me. I tried to buy one of their barrels but they stopped making threaded bbls for P226. That's about all I can say.

I have two .45 1911 barrels and one 9mm 1911 barrel from storm lake. All have been great.
All of them are threaded.

We have purchased several threaded barrels from Storm Lake.

All were top notch!

I have two, one for my 1911 and one for my M&P 40. They are excellent quality.

I run a couple of them and they are great!

I have 4 of them no problems at all.

2 for 1911 and 1 for glock 17 and another for glock 45. Didn't have to do any custom fitting.

Just got my storm lake m&p barrel in the mail today, 40-9mm conversion 1/2-28 threaded. But wait, whats that in the (correctly labeled) box? The wrong effin barrel! They packaged a huge shipment of 357 sig conversion compact barrels in the wrong boxes and sent them out. Looks like i'll be going with kkm for $40 more.

Could you return the wrong barrel? If so I'd check another source for the SL, got mine from grab a gun.

Sucks you got a shipping snafu. Don't judge the product by the error. They make a good product. Having to return is inconvenient, but should be worth it in the end. I'm sure they'll take care of you.

What a dumb statement. Just return it to Storm Lake and they will make it right. You will get a good barrel and save $40.
