An impossible task....

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

An impossible task....

Post by GLADIO »

So, I disassembled my Walther SD22 suppressor.
It took a specialty tool by Beta, and it all went smooth.
You'll see the insides in another thread, it's rubbish anyway. Uncoated aluminum C baffles.

I already know the answer is NO, but..
-Is there a legal way to export a batch of suppressor baffles made on my specs?

I know I'd have to go through ITAR and possibly NFA, and I don't think anyone tried to export an NFA item
(wich a suppressor baffle is ).

You may ask "why don't you contact an european maker?"

cool question. I don't know any..

Look for gunny50 in Silencersmithing, he is on your side of the pond.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

You wont get anything NFA from the US. We can only export NFA to approved government agencies not to civilians. Its all handled via State Dept.

Gunny50 is your best bet for buying parts.

Eh, I have to hope he'll answer my MPs.
I can still talk with a local machine shop,
but I'd like to talk with someone who already knows what we're speaking about.
thanks guys.

I think LavaRed is in Central America and perhaps can export to Italy?

I don't know your local laws but you may be able to track down some prints online that can be machined local to you.

Genova, northern Italy.
I've got a hold of Gunny50. Let's see if we can work something out!
