You guys have to stop believing these blogs.
TTAG has not even corrected the fake story about AAC merging with Tapco yet.

Re: Mike Mers leaves AAC
From Mers on facespace.
I'm pleased to announce that I have transitioned into a new strategic consulting position at AAC. With the Company's upcoming move to Huntsville, this decision makes the most sense for me and my family. As I begin my new role, I will transition my previous day-to-day sales responsibilities to other members of the AAC team. Thank you for the comments and support.

This +1. This makes the second time they have been wrong at the "truth" about guns...
Re: Mike Mers leaves AAC
Sounds like Mers and his family just didn't want to move to Huntsville. That's cool, life happens. Hopefully that's the main reason. But if he eventually moves to, ohh say NH or UT, then all bets are off.
Re: Mike Mers leaves AAC
But it's da TROOOF about guns.
I really hate that title.
Mers was still with AAC as of last week when I was pestering him via email.

I'm just waiting for a certain forum member to chime in, then delete his post when he's wrong.............
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Re: Mike Mers leaves AAC
I pestered him on facebook, he is still sales manager at AAC
I think he may work from home more and less at the new Ark location

Re: Mike Mers leaves AAC
I'm going to say he doesn't work there anymore.
It sucks and the circumstances are not 100% clear, and I wish him all the best. I've always thought the world of Mike.

Re: Mike Mers leaves AAC
The worst thing Kevin B did was sell AAC... It came back to bite him and alot of others. I miss the old AAC with Kevin at the helm! Looking back I think he should have gone public and kept 51+% of the shares. I would have bought a few!
Going a little more discrete here due to some of my opinions...
Re: Mike Mers leaves AAC
I sadly agree. It was mainly Remington's antics that brought AAC down, and it's great KB won his lawsuit against them, but this whole mess could've been avoided if he just didn't sell out in the first place. Heck, the old AAC would've already released a shotgun can by now...kalikraven wrote:The worst thing Kevin B did was sell AAC... It came back to bite him and alot of others.
