Best plans that I can have built for .300BLK & .223
I am looking to do a Form 1 and know there are some great designs within the pages here. I am looking for a suppressor that will provide the best performance for both .300BLK/.223. I would prefer a serviceable model with some sort of QD that can be implemented on both barrel types as well. This inquiry may be a stretch but figure it's better to ask than wonder. I'm also possibly looking for plans that can mount to those mounts currently available from manufactures. I really like the Saker 7.62 brake mount but I'm thinking that's not something that can be easily achieved what with patents, and their proprietary mount unless I purchased the MADD mount which again is something I'm open too. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

I went saker 5.56 and Liberty Mystic with 3 lug mount for 300 blackout.
I'm happy. Saker 7.62 is a fine choice but subsonic 300BLK bullets are expensive. I will either cast or buy Missouri Cast bullets. That means take apart can is needed unless you are willing to risk powdercoat on a sealed can.

I don't recall anything to fit your particular desires but have you checked out Wicked's Form 1 build thread? A lot of good ideas in there.

Do you roll your own ammo? If not you should, LOL I want a serviceable can in hopes that it will last longer. If not serviceable at least one that will be easy to rebuild without requiring a new stamp.wacki wrote:I went saker 5.56 and Liberty Mystic with 3 lug mount for 300 blackout.

The mystic and constitution are both take apart.
The Thompson thirty can be recored by stalking rhino and is take apart.
The saker is factory serviceable but you won't ever need that.

Part of the deal here is people are reluctant to get you started.
1. It's too easy to poo free help and statistics support this.
2. It's like playing "guess what I have in my pocket" to figure what somebody is really looking for.
3. You have to work for it. You have to hoe the row and sow the seeds.
If you even just scribble something on a piece of paper then scan it into a JPG and post it here you might be surprised at the help you'll get.

Based on some other can designs that have produced good results I'm leaning toward k baffle style with snap together features(thanks for the tip delta9mda) and i'm thinking for the best weight titanium will be the metal. The mount is up in the air but I would like some sort of QD style to make it easy to switch to and from other guns in my collection.doubloon wrote:Part of the deal here is people are reluctant to get you started.
