Why would anyone use a can capable of .300BLK rifle use on a .22 pistol?

Excellent question. Is the tested Db rating demonstrably less than say a Sparrow
due to extra internal volume and/or baffle configuration?

Channelling Jerry McQuire let us yell ... " Give Me The Numbers!" :)

Because most newbs don't have 20 cans like you and I. That and it's the perfect starter can to get a newb rollin

Mystic X. From what i see it's just a refined old Mystic. Same caliber specs. Just a few design tweaks.

Should've been a new 45acp Mystic. That's a true ultimate first-timer can. Might give up a little sound performance with a bigger bore opening, but the versatility to add two more mainstream calibers (40 and 45) would've been worth it imo.

The X can handle supersonic 300BLK.

I'm sure we'll get a new 45 can from Liberty down the road.

The are also working on a retrofit program for existing Mystic owners. This will have to wait till sales settle on the X so they have time to meet the upgrade demand.

That's fair. In the video it looks massive and heavy on the Ruger though. And let's be honest, this is a disease, no one ever buys just one. :)

The only thing I see different from my Mystic is the baffle reinforcement. Or am I missing something?

The Mystic X has a redesigned monolithic core with enhanced I-beams to allow for additional rigidity and stability. The increased I-Beam supports reconfigured baffles which reduced the overall weight by nearly 2 ounces. The tube Retaining Ring and has been streamlined by reducing the overall OD. The End-Cap has been reformatted with our WaveLoc design eliminating the tube pin but still inhibiting tube roll. All that and it is rated for over 50 calibers. How many do you want/need?
