What I'd like to see on the market

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

What I'd like to see on the market

I'd like to see someone come out with the old Maxim designs, both offset and coaxial using modern materials.
They are still good designs.
I also wonder if they were a tad longer with a few more baffles in them, a little more quieter perhaps?
I've always enjoyed reading about him and his silencers. :)

reflex

the only advantage I see with reflex is normally they are mounted with the threads farther back and allow the "blast chamber""?" to ocupy otherwise unused space on the barrel. Centering could possibly be easier.

True, less space up front perhaps maintains better overall balance of the firearm, larger blast chamber retains more energy.
