I have my name on an Octane 45 at a local shop. I have a lever action .44mag. Can the Octane handle the pressure of a .44 mag?
At least it could handle .44 spl, right?
Can the Octane 45 handle the pressure of .44 Mag? .44 Spl?

Re: Can the Octane 45 handle the pressure of .44 Mag? .44 S
It sounds great on 44spl subs, as far as Magnums not sure. Although, Silencerco says the Octane 9HD with handle 357 Magnum, so maybe an Octane 45 it would do 44mag?

Works fine of 44magnum, so does the Osprey 45
I've metered it as well the 44 spl was very quiet, the 44 magnum was right on the line of hearing safe. I did send this rifle to Silencerco to have them approve it with the use of both the Octane and Osprey. They gave the thumbs up on the Octane and said they were worried about the Osprey but it showed to signs of overpressure or hightemps, but I rarely use the Osprey on it since I shoot lead from it most of the time.
A friend who was a little to quick to end filming between each shot took some footage for me, but its definitely not complete. Sometimes tripods are better than friends.
