Why didn't anyone warn me these things are addicting

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Why didn't anyone warn me these things are addicting

Post by thepro8 »

I bought a ACC TIrang 45 becuase it was on sale (got it for $550 and a $200 credit to AAC)
Then I bought a 22 Sparrow because I was able to for $350
Now I just got talked into the AAC 762-SDN-6 because i wanted to do a 300 blk out sbr and I got it for $550 and $200 credit to AAC).

Is this addiction ever going to end??

The warning regarding the addictive nature of silencer acquisition was given verbally. Ironically, it's a warning you can't hear UNTIL you're shooting with a silencer.

Stamps is crack.

Start reloading. It's not really cheaper but you'll shoot more and won't wait as long for stuff. :)
If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst or explode, it's not worth shooting.

Indeed ... I have more than I want to admit and two more Form 4s in progress.

I SWEAR these are the last!

Already to that. Been reloading for about 4 years now. Another fun hobby.
