Who is the best at jailbreaking and recoring an Evo-9?

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Who is the best at jailbreaking and recoring an Evo-9?

Post by eseaton »

I recall " Rhino" did this at one time. Who has had this can updated and what do you suggest? Would like it to be user serviceable and may want to shoot an occasional 300 Blackout and even a few .22's through it along with the 9mm.

As always, I appreciate the input. If anyone has this can and has updated it, some pics of the internals would be nice if you have the time.

Is it just a jailbreak at this time? Or can you re-core them with "new and improved" baffles?

I want a "new and improved" stack or mono core. I do not know what my option are and was hoping for some input.

In the next couple weeks we will be testing a new recore option for the Evo9's.

The last core tied dB reduction but improved the serviceability and reduced the weight. Hoping the newest iteration will drop a few dB's in the process.

That sounds promising. When you said your present work matches db, do you mean matches the early Evo-9 db?
Does the new core have unique features vs what you have been doing? Not asking for trade secrets but generally the style of core for example.
Anxiously awaiting the new product.
Possibly you can email me when it is available.

Darn it, new design core?

I've been in email communication with Bendersquint about having my Evo-9 jailbroken. It is new in the box, haven't shoot anything through it yet.

I think with all the people grabbing up the last of the Evo-9's from a certain online vendor, they'll be a small surge in jailbreaking demand.

Haven't seen an increase in Evo's lately so maybe they are all still in jail or people don't know they can have it jailbroken while in transfer....

Bender squint,

What is the latest info you have on the "new" Evo core you spoke of? I am itching for an upgrade if it is worth it.

Will you email me details, please?

Thanks
