You got the answer for the question you asked.

Ask a more detailed question if you want a more detailed answer.

Arrogant? I think not. I thought we were quite playful.

Besides, for a first post, it was about as light as your screen name!

Not sure how many forums you've joined, but, maybe, say hello first, tickle us a bit, then post your query.

how old are you retards. go back to working your AM/PM clerk job and dreaming about zombies and wishing your life had meaning. Forums are about sharing information. How about next time someone posts something, say yes and here is what I have heard. Thanks for nothing.

What kind of person comes to a forum about suppressors and titles their first thread "suppressors"? How old are YOU, "AIR"?

Maybe you're just having a bad day, but how about YOU put a little more thought into things?

I'm a nobody, but there are a few guys here that actually design, build and repair cans for a living, and countless others who have built their own on Form 1's. There's really not many places like this site on the web when it comes to silencers.

If I were you, I'd ask the mods to delete this thread, sit back and read a few threads and try google searching with "site:silencertalk.com" after the keywords. But that's just me...

Some people just can't take a joke. Most of us saw it as a light jest based on a rather vague question. Would you go to a car forum and ask "Anyone heard of Pontiac?"

Come back when your tantrum is over and people will probably be happy to help you.

You have some balls coming onto this site and acting like a complete jerkoff. Wipe the sand out of your clit and go ask stupid questions elsewhere.

Oooh! I got this one! Yes, I've heard of Pontiac.

Jest aside, I didn't think Doubloon was being either difficult nor humorous, I misread the original question as a query on name recognition. As though the owner merely wanted to know if his/her product was recognized on a wider scale.

This whole thread reminds me of a similar issue I sometimes have when I sell stuff on Ebay. It's the "customers" and their mindset when they talk with me. They want to know if I have the same item in a different color. They don't understand that I'm not a store, I just have that one item that I'd like to convert to cash and that I'm using Ebay as a middle-man to reach potential buyers. I'm not a business! I'm just one guy with one item!

Then they also ask for free shipping AFTER they've bid on it, and threaten to take their bids elsewhere unless I accommodate. I try not to be rude, but I'm NOT A BUSINESS! Go somewhere else! This isn't a 'customer-is-always-right' situation. I'm merely seeking someone who finds the arrangement of goods for cash mutually beneficial.

At any rate, this situation here is similar. The original poster assumes we have some kind of a civic duty to respond as though we're the assets of a search engine. He types "APD" into Google and Google dutifully serves up as many hits as possible. So he types "APD" here and expects the same thing.... except we're people on the other side of the wire. If we come back with 'hits', it is out of pure generosity. It isn't like we receive $0.001 per response or something.

And thanks for calling me a 'retard' and assuming I work at a gas station.

If only there were some kinda way, that they could find out that information, with just a movement of their finger....

It saddens me, deeply, that so many folk, presumably having come up in a time when such things are to be taken for granted, do not realize that man put himself on the moon using a computer 1/10 in computing power to the very one they might have purchased at a mega-retailer just a few miles from their own home, and for a such very small fraction of cost to the former.

Computers get smarter and people, well.....

They can tell that with a movement of their finger: click feedback. It lists what's been sold and when.

The second part of your post is just as wrong as the first part. The whole point of my monologue was to point out the entitlement that AIR shares with some of the people I've done business with in the past. What does that have to do with moon-landings? I especially like the hanging implication at the end, that computers got smarter, but people (implied) did not... specifically implying me. Except -- whoops! -- people CAN click one link and determine that. And since "clicking-one-link" requires "just-a-movement-of-their-finger", you are LITERALLY wrong.

Now follow this logic stream: if your whole implication that I'm stupid is based on my 'false' claim that people should know... then when I'm proven to be correct and YOU are proven to be the one who made a false claim... then doesn't this mean that YOU are stupid?

Or are you going to tell me that you give money to people over the internet without even the faintest attempt to vet them? Because as a defense, all that proves is that you are, in fact, stupid.

And NONE of this addresses the core issue at stake here: that one guy, in a first post, started a thread entitled "suppressors" on a forum ABOUT suppressors, and asked the broadest, vaguest question he could've managed using the shortest complete sentence... then expresses displeasure when we didn't data-dump the screen for his pleasure. He then follows up a HUMOROUS response with insults and degradations. Awesome. Just awesome.

... then there's you. You sit and type out some random piece of trivia that's meant to demonstrate your slashing brilliance and intellect, then use restraint and implication to complete the post as though this makes you some kind of 'wise master' lamenting the shortcomings of his pupil adversaries... then you sit back and sip coffee and feel smug? What's next? Are you going to dazzle us by sharing that tomatoes are actually a fruit? That Coca-Cola used to have cocaine as an ingredient? Or are you going to produce another one of those other 'secret facts' that everyone already knows, but think they're alone in their knowledge?

Pathetic. You manipulate poorly, but you bask in this warmth as though everyone views your post as the words of some mighty anonymous internet prophet. Now what? You go through the rest of the day feeling high on your own esteem?

Moron.

Yes I know. It's called sarcasm, denoted by the eye rolling smilie.

I'm agreeing with you. How's your coffee?

It was "Duncan Donuts Eggnog" flavored. It wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. The 'eggnog' part of the name got my attention when I bought it yesterday, so this was my first cup. Fortunately I have diet Dr. Pepper, so I switched over to that.

I must be on my period. I guess I could delete my post, but....

Sorry about that.

Based on some of my observations I'd say the about 14, but that could not be true because of the requirements to own suppressors. I'd say, though, that your expectations were probably too high.

Some people just can't be pleased.

Remember, half the country has an IQ under 100, and they can still buy guns and register at forums. The average here is higher but most gun websites will have highbrow and lowbrow elements. If you're gonna be a dick about it and whine that people aren't smart or mature enough for you, the better approach is to ignore those individuals and learn to filter signal from noise. The ratio here is significantly better than most places. And you'd be a fool to assume that someone who makes a little joke at your expense is one of the dumb ones. Usually the smart ones are the pranksters and wiseasses.

Great point but I don't think it takes an IQ over 100 to use a search engine. Asking questions like "Where is XYZ City, USA?" when you could have "Googled it" isn't a "dumb question" it's a "lazy question".

Dumb people can't help it; lazy people can.

I know it's kinda low brow, but I have to admit that I'm pretty entertained when threads go "BAD". Just like watching a realy one sided fist fight. You get the guy who with good intentions asks a stupid question then can't take a joke when a few amusing comments are made. Often like ten on one. It reminds me of the nature channel when lions are taking down a gazzel. Fun to watch! Does that make me the asshole? Ahh who cares it's still fun to watch.

So I've never heard of APD suppressors.
For those who have, does anyone actually own one?
Do they have any unique and nifty features?

I'd like to hear more.
