AeroPrecision Dedicated Suppressed 300 Blackout Upper

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

This is basically my build... with my Omega coming next month.

Mine is 8", with a 9.75" YHM rail. Can't wait...

I went 8" with a 13" ALG handguard, the Octane fits pretty well under there and looks good.

from the OP link.

Please Note
This is an NFA Item. Please contact your FFL/SOT and confirm they will accept this item before placing your order. The wait time for approval to transfer this item to an FFL/SOT dealer is 4 - 8 weeks. The wait time for Form 4 approval (FFL/SOT dealer transfer to customer) is 4 - 6 months.

This configuration is <16" in length and will require an additional tax stamp if being built in to an SBR.

AP makes good stuff BUT that is pricey! With todays AR prices its much better to build your own or buy similar.

I think you would have a tough time beating that price. After $1100 for the Omega, that leaves you $450 for the upper. $150 for a barrel, $100 for a receiver, $100 for a handguard, $100 for a BCG. I was able to scout out some sales and put mine together for about that much or a little more.

The Omega is $880 http://www.silencershop.com/silencers/7 ... -7-62.html , Anderson lower $39 HF barrel's and good upper, NB or NT bolt also cheap right now and all mill spec quality stuff. then spend the extra on a good TG or optic.

Just trying to help, I build tons of AR's and keep up on prices for such. :|

BTW, I have one of the first lowers Aero ever bult.

Agree with you Emilio a little pricey but still cool :) more for the people that don't feel comfortable building their own uppers. I bought a few of there stripped upper receivers, and the fit very snug on my Noveske lowers i lucked out on getting no wobble at all been hooked since.

My whole SBR (Upper, Lower, and Omega) was built (by me) for about $1700.

The Omega was $880 of that. My break was $200 alone, so if you subtract that, I'm closer to $1500.

Add $400 in tax stamps... I'm just under/at $2K.
